Orthodontic Treatment

Invisalign is a popular orthodontic treatment that utilizes clear, removable aligners to straighten teeth and correct bite issues. These aligners are custom-made for each patient based on digital scans or impressions of their teeth.

Here’s how the Invisalign process typically works:

Consultation: The process begins with a consultation with an orthodontist or dentist who is trained in Invisalign treatment. During this visit, the orthodontist will assess your teeth and bite to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you.

Treatment Plan: If Invisalign is deemed suitable, the orthodontist will create a personalized treatment plan. This plan involves mapping out the gradual movements of your teeth to achieve the desired results.

Custom Aligners: Based on the treatment plan, a series of custom aligners are fabricated using advanced 3D printing technology. Each set of aligners is worn for about 1-2 weeks, gradually moving the teeth into their desired positions.

Wearing the Aligners: Patients are instructed to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking (except water), brushing, and flossing.

Progress Checks: Periodic appointments with the orthodontist are scheduled to monitor progress and provide new sets of aligners as needed.

Treatment Completion: Once the final set of aligners has been worn and the desired results achieved, a retainer may be prescribed to maintain the new position of the teeth.
